Paradise Valley, AZ: September 26, 2008. Predeceased by parents, Myra & Jack Slater. Survived by wife, Barbara; son, Daniel (Shelyn) Slater; daughter, Marcy (Gregg) Sherman; sister, Linda (Gary) Tobin and 6 beloved grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Thursday, October 2nd at Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Research Grants Program, 2141 Rosecrans Ave, Suite 7000; El Segundo, CA 90245 www.pancan.org. At the request of the family there will be no home visitation.

Dear Barb and Family,
I'll really miss my buddy, and Maxine and I are so saddened by your loss. He wittnessed my two holes in one a month apart. Who will believe it now? We had the best times together, and I depended on him to remember what meal we ate at each restaurant. (He never forgot a meal!) You lost a great man, and we will all miss him.
