Fairport: On January 29, 2010. Formerly of Gowanda, NY. Passed away at the Crest Manor Living & Rehab Center in Fairport, NY at the age of 96. Predeceased by her husband, Hyman R. Saffer and son, Dr. Jerry B. Saffer. Survived by her son, David M. (Beth) Saffer; daughter-in-law, Dr. Linda Saffer of MD; grandson, Abraham Saffer; granddaughters, Rachel Saffer, Amy Bamberger & Marnie Liebman; 9 great-grandchildren and dear friends.
Interment, private. The family will receive friends at 5 New Wickam Dr., Penfield, NY (click here for directions to the house of mourning) on February 2nd & 3rd from 12-7 PM.
